How do I find out the nutrition facts on Burger King food? I was wondering how much fat, calories, etc. are in a Whopper, but plain. I assume the guide only tells you based on ordering it as it comes, with all the garbage on it. I'm only interested in the meat and the bun.
Burger King Nutrition? Med fries at BK is 116 grams, most of which come from fat and carbs. Bacon double cheeseburger is 196 grams. How can this be so? I swear a burger of this size must be a lo heavier in grams than med fries, but i got this off the official website. Can someone explain this, please?
Why won't Quizno's Subs post nutrition information online about their entire menu (like Burger King does) ? A great majority of fast food chains post their entire menu's nutritional information online, no matter if their food is healthy or not. Quizno's only posts their info for their 2 'Lite' sandwiches. What about their salads or chili ???

Could I actually lose weight eating up to four Burger King Whoppers in a day? OneBurger King Whopper w/o mayonnaise has 510 calories http://www.bk.com/nutrition/pdfs/eatings... . The average Adult requires only 2000 calories a day, so if I times 510 X 4, I'll get 2, 040 calories. I might even lose weight eating like that for a month, huh? Not a bad idea, yes , no, huh?
Marine/Navy- Why the tough physical standards when the food is worse than Burger king? My friend is a Marine cook and he cooks with Sailors on the Ship. He told me that the food nutrition is worse than Fast food restaurants. he also told me that he saw some boxes of steaks that are labeled (Not for Human consumption). They take a small amount out of the paycheck.
What exactly is the Burger King Veggie Burger made out of? and is it any good? i looked it up here http://www.bk.com/en/us/menu-nutrition/index.html but i want to know what the patty is made of thanks(:
Rice, Burger King, or Subway? Which is the healthiest choice today for lunch?: Homemade white race with spices, assorted vegetables, beef. Whopper combo with fries from Burger King. 12 Inch Ham combo at subway Which has the most nutrition, which one least calories, which one should I eat for lunch today :)?
Food Alert: Are people aware of the pork-contamination of Burger King food? For those who are against port products [as I know Muslims and Jewish people are, as well as some Christians] For fried items [ but not french fries] Burger King uses the same fryer that is used for pork sausage The website for Burger King link below mentions this information http://www.bk.com/#menu=3,3,-1 if link not working, its in the 'nutrition' area of the menu and then scroll to the bottom for 'fried foods' I wasn't aware so I figured I spread the word Also- does anyone know of other food places to avoid for those who don't want pork products?
Is it safe to exceed daily nutrition percentages? I'm not a overweight but just had 5 dollar menu chicken sandwiches from Burger King. Will I need to go to the hospital because of the extra fat and sodium, etc?
Is Burger King "trans-fat free" if it's still in their mayonnaise? Looking at BK's new "nutritional information" dated April 2009 it looks like they still use trans-fat in their mayo. Should they be able to claim that they're trans-fat free? http://www.bk.com/Nutrition/PDFs/NutritionalBrochure.pdf http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26994314/
Is Burger King Better Than McDonald's? We had to debate this in speech class the other day and i want to know what others think. So based on all factors (like friendliness, community service they do, nutrition...etc) and not just opinion, which is better?
Compare Burger King to McDonalds!? nutrition, style, popularity, everything & other fast food restaurants
Do YOU think Fast food restaurants SHOULD have Nutrition Labels? In some recent studies, some people complain that they are gaining weight from going to places like McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc...well duh! Don't eat fast food! However they think that there should be labels with nutrition information on each product. What do you think about this?
what caterers would be suitable for a special school in london, desperate for nutrition? we are currently suffering with scolarist, with soggy overcooked veg, procesed chicken and generally poor quality, bad tasting food - with little regard for the cultural make up of our diverse students. As all of our students are physically disabled and are often in and out of hospital thus their diet is even more important. The deserts are all fat and suger and have little or no nutritional value, food dye is common place with pizzas staining plates and very sorry sausages. our contract with the burger king company is up shortly and i would desperatley like an alternative. Cost is an issue with money having to come from somewhere, but the present situation has shown many broken promises and declining standards. i would like any suggestions, we have an onsite kitchin and about 90 children with varius needs, the staff would also eat if the food was good adding another 30-60 covers per day. are their specialist caterers? are our numbers sufficient? could we go inhouse? is there hope?
Did you know about Panera's nutrition facts? So, I work there and I had no idea the food was packed with so much calories. A pananni there has 900 calories! Thats more then any Burger King Sandwhich. It's disgusting, add in the pop and chips and its worse. Even they're regular cafe sandwhiches(ham, turkey) have 700 calories alone.
How do I know how many calories are in fast food restaurants? Places like Subway, Quiznos, Mr. Sub or even junk food restaurants like Mcdonalds, Burger King, and Taco Bell obviously don't have nutrition labels on them so how will I know how many calories and protein I'm taking in?
What is it going to take for America to stop the production of unhealthy, fat-filled foods? Obesity levels are higher than ever & yet McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, etc. are still manufacturing unhealthy foods that can cause cancer. Although most places are taking steps to reduce levels of fat and increase nutrition levels in their food, they won't stop selling the others that are horrible for anyone to eat even once a week. I'm aware that business could plummet if they stopped selling the big macs or whoppers, but what about the health of America and future generations? I realize they can go out of business if no one buys the fast food. But don't many Americans know what it's doing to them? No doubt the companies do! it's pitiful.
Why is there a "Flame-broiled burger" on the nutrion facts but not on the menu? So about a month ago I went to Burger King with a friend of mine. Now I generally try to avoid fast food, but I was hungry so I took a look at the Nutrition Facts board on the side. I saw "Burger" under the flame-broiled section. 290 calories, I decided to take it. But when I get to the cash register and I ask for a flame-broiled burger, they said that all of their burgers were flame-broiled. I didn't really get it. http://www.bk.com/Nutrition/PDFs/brochure.pdf It's on the first page, under the 2nd section titled 'flame-broiled burgers' So can somebody help me out?! What am I suppose to say at the register to get that meal?
Nutrition website to enter daily food log and evaluate calorie and vitamin intake.? I used this website once but I don't remember what it was. You could enter the specific food you consume for example: 1 Burger King Whopper or 1 slice of pepperoni pizza and it would calculate your calories and even show you what nutrients you may be lacking in your diet. Anybody know what website this was or one like it?

Since I work out, it wouldn't hurt but HELp me if I ate a sub everyday since its packed with nutrition and calories to help me gain muscle So would it be a good idea What if I ate Burger King every day and still exercised at that intensity?

Fast Food for You? IF fast food places (ie: Mcdonalds, Burger King) put the nutrition facts, calories right on the menu...would you still eat it? And believe me the nutrition facts arn't pretty. A burger and a salad have pretty much the same amount of calories.

How to work out and gain weight at the same time? I am on a regular work out schedule: - Mondays and Fridays: Weight Training with Cables and Machines (I don't free weights) - Wednesdays and Saturday: High Intensity running or playing tennis ab exercices and a little bit of weights in between My aim is to get ripped and build nicely toned and shaped muscles especially around the chest area. After 3 months of working out, I was expecting some results. I am getting muscular but at the same time dropped from 145 lbs to 139 lbs (My aim was to reach 150 lbs). So instead of a muscular look, I feel that I am deflated. My belly is still flappy and it's not getting ripped. Instead of losing weight as fat, my body is losing the weight from my muscles, the very target of my work out. Any suggestions??? (Of course other than see a nutrition specialist or get a personal trainer or go to Burger King everyday) :) Thanks
What could possibly go wrong with Obama's Health Care Plan? All of the following are true: Obama's health care plan will be written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it passed by a Congress that hasn't read it and whose members will be exempt from it Signed by a President that hasn't read it and who smokes funded by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes overseen by an obese surgeon general who's last job was nutrition advisor to Burger King financed by a country that is broke. Fat Wop:(ahem ahem) Your Mom didn't think so ;) lol. check out the "intellectual libs" calling me baldy.. Uh yea.. it's because I AM bald.. I will refrain from commenting on your picture
Which restaurant has a better, healthier kids menu? McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's? All three are very close to our home and I want to make sure our baby is getting the proper nutrition. We'll be weaning her off formula in a week or two, so I was curious. (This one's for you, Kiley)
Nutrition and Metabolism? Okay, this morning I'm 2lbs lighter than yesterday. We've all read to stop eating after 6-7pm, etc. I'm aware about the mini meals througout the day for keeping the Metab charged, etc. I'm not taking thermogenics, diet pills, etc. It appears that whenever I eat protien late at night, I feel lighter the next morning. (includig McD/King burgers at night (though I've given up burgers)... Last night's meal: order of french fries. Baked Chicken with sweet potatoe puree, mixed salad greens, wedge of french bread with whole butter (ordered from french Bistro restaurant) and a couple squares of dark chocolate! Beverage: distilled water, though earler preceded with unsweetened ice tea. Afternoon: breakfast: golden delicious apple, soy milk, with odwalla grain & berry bar. Breakfast: multi grain chex and puff cerial w/soy milk. Note: 2 days earlier: food limited to fresh juice smoothies and vegetables. Thanks! http://tinyurl.com/2lwzqv http://jgaynor.qhealthzone.com The question is: per the aforementioned, what triggered the weightloss, or metabolism after eating that late without additional activity, when advised not to?
Trying to figure out the point value for..? I am trying to figure out the point value for Burger King medium fries. Most sites I see it says 8 or 9 points. But according to others nutrition facts it would be 11. What should I go by? I obviously hope it's 8, but should I just count they are 11 just in case??

Can someone proofread my argumentative essay? Can someone proofread my argumentative essay? Feel free to make changes if needed. P.S. sorry if it seems long... In the United States, many people like to go out to dine at restaurants and fast food places on daily basics. People can turn their head to the right and left and they could see someone next to them who is obese or overweight. “Approximately 22 million children under five years of age are overweight. During the past three decades, the number of overweight children in the Unites States has more than doubled. In 1983, 18.6 percent of preschool children in the United States were defined as overweight, and 8.5 percent were defined as obese; by 2000, 22.0 percent of preschool children were overweight and 10.0 percent were obese”(Decklbaum and Williams p. 239S). Childhood obesity is an “epidemic” in America as many children are either overweight or obese. The reasons for childhood obesity are lack of exercise, healthy eating and nutrition, health problems, and low self-esteem. The lack of exercise and physical activities is one reason for childhood obesity. Therefore, there are many elementary schools that do not have any physical education teachers to teach exercise. For example, many elementary schools would have teachers who have no background in physical education teach students about exercising. Instead, they would tell students to go outside during class time about once a week to play kick ball or softball and that would be their exercise for the week. Another reason for not exercising is technology. Many children do not want to go outside to play with their friends, exercise or do any sport participation. They rather stay at home to chat with their friends over the Internet using Yahoo Messenger or AIM (software programs that allow people to chat with each other). They also rather stay at home and spend hours in front of a television playing video games and watching television shows like Rob and Big, CSI, and Sponge Bob. “Television viewing often is considered one of the most modifiable causes of obesity in children. Children spend a substantial part of their lives in front of the television set. Recent parent-report and self-report data from a nationally representative sample of 3155 children indicate that 2- to 7-year-old children in the United States spend an average of approximately 2.5 hours per day and 8- to 18-year-old children spend an average of about 4.5 hours per day watching television and playing video games. When these data are combined with typical sleep data from children, it is found that children in the United States are spending more than 25% of their waking hours in front of the television set” This shows that technology is a big influence on why children do not want to exercise or do any physical activities. Many children who are obese in America do not eat healthy or have proper nutrition. Now a day, many parents are busy with work so it is easier for them to drive to McDonald’s or Burger King’s to order some fast food meals along with soft drinks for their children. Instead of cooking a meal and having their children drink water. In addition, these fast food restaurants like McDonald’s would try to convince their customer’s by asking them if they would like to “Supersize” their meals, so they can have larger portion of French fries and larger soft drink’s that would cost a few cents more. “As children's body weights have increased, so has their consumption of fast foods and soft drinks. The proportion of foods that children consumed from restaurants and fast food outlets increased by nearly 300% between 1977 and 1996. Children's soft drink consumption has also increased during those years, and now soft drinks provide soft drink consumers 188 kcal/d beyond the energy intake of nonconsumers”. Proper nutrition is essential and yet many children are not consuming enough fiber per day. Instead, they are consuming less than 10 grams of fiber per day and less than 25 grams per day during adulthood. “A 5-year-old child should consume at least 10 g of fiber per day and fiber intake should approach adult levels (20–25 g per day) by 15 years of age. Unfortunately, persons of all ages in the United States eat far fewer than the recommended number of servings of whole-grain products, vegetables, and fruits. In 1994 to 1996, only 3% of individuals 2 years of age consumed 3 daily servings of vegetables (with at least one third being dark green or orange vegetables), whereas only 7% consumed 6 daily servings of grains (with 3 being whole grains). Currently, dietary fiber intake throughout childhood and adolescence averages 12 g/day or 5 g/1000 kcal (4200 kJ), a level of intake that has not changed in the past 30 years. Because total carbohydrate content has increased considerably during this period, most of this increase seems to be in the form of fiber-poor refined grains, starchy vegetables, and sugar-sweetened beverages” The lack of knowledge about nut
Eating fast food and pop everyday for three years? How bad is is fast food for you really? I know someone (and I am worried about their health) who works and has worked at Burger King (gets free food) for three years and eats it EVERYDAY with a coke. She usually gets the 9 piece chicken fries and eats that. I am not kidding. Like literally everyday. It is on her way to college and..she works there so basically everyday. When she does not eat BK, she eats at Mcdonalds or Wendys...same thing. Damn, she has been eating it literally for 3 or 4 years everyday. And she is still so slim (Jealous) but what are the long term effects of eating fast food like this? I want to show her but I am not into nutrition and things like that. I tried to look at the nutrition info of BK and have not found a way to explain what it means. Any help here? Thank you so much in advanced.
What should I eat for lunch? I dunno what I want. I'm at school. There's burgers, pizza, burger king, panda express, el pollo loco, sandwiches, lasagna, pasta (you tell them what you want in it and they make it), food at the pub, and basically anything you'd find in a convenient store. Btw, don't tell me to eat something just for the fact that it is healthy because I'm a nutrition student so I would already know that. :) I'm just indecisive right now. I'm not a picky eater and I like all kinds of food, healthy or not. To Mike T- so are you suggesting I should also eat french fries because potatoes are high in potassium too? LOL No offense but I just had to point out that those sweet foods are spelled with two "s's"...if you're talking about the desert, i'd rather be in the rainforest. lol
Please help! I've got the vegetarian blues!? Please help me...I feel horrible... I "converted" to vegetarianism over a month ago. I wanted to do the right thing, and my sister and stepfather calling me a hypocrite for not squishing bugs but eating meat gave me the final push. My mother thinks I'm not a true vegetarian, just a "non-meat-eater" because I loved the taste of meat and don't like vegetables, and of the very few vegetables we have in the household (lettuce mostly) I eat most of the vegetables and meals I do these days with Ragu tomato sauce, as I love the taste of it and makes anything taste better to me. My mother won't cook any vegetarian meals (I cook all of my meals, if you can call pasta, boca burgers, and Ragu cooking), and she gets mad at me for not eating with everyone and not eating the leftovers that spoil in the refrigerator. She thinks I'm not sincere (I was looking at PETA and goveg sites perhaps as early as late 2008, and almost certainly months before my latest dietary change), and that I'm just doing it to prove a point, and also criticizes me for likely (very likely, we live in a small Bible Belt, good ol' deer huntin, fishin, and general animal suffering kind of town) being the only vegetarian in town or that she even knows...and she literally reduced me to tears flat out telling me that I'm wrong (she is a good mother, really, but she disagrees with my decision completely). Can someone please help me get through this? I'm a sweet tooth with a general dislike for the "bitter" vegetables, and having feuds, and considering that pretty much the only decent meals you can get in town contain meat (we don't even have a Burger King, and the only place in town I know has vegetarian options is on the other side of town, not that it's a big town - I just can't walk there myself - and my parents don't like it so I can't go. If you can suggest vegetarian options that can satisfy my taste buds with necessary nutrition, especially something that an impatient teenage boy can cook, it would be much appreciated. P.S. As of right now, dairy/eggs/honey/etc. is alright as it doesn't kill animals and I don't think as of right now I could go on without those.
I just ate 1,000 calories for lunch? I was appaled. I ate a Chick Fil A sandwich, medium waffle fries, and 2 packs of polynesion sauce. I was horrified when i went to the Chick Fil A website and checked the nutrition facts. I always thought out of all the fast food places, Chick Fil A was not as bad as McDonalds or Burger King. But I guess I was wrong. What can I do to finish my day off more healthier. Healthy dinner mabey? An hour of Wii Fit? Take the dog on a long walk?
English Muffin Pizzas on Diet? I made a Thomas Multi grain light english muffin pizza(s). I sliced the muffin in two, i put 1 table spoon on each side with marinara sauce and low fat mozzerella shredded cheese. i eat those for dinner like once a week with something small(salad, ect). I am on a diet and watching what i eat to lose weight. I dont drink soda, eat fast food, no chips, i basiclly stay out of the middle isles in the shopping center, I only get like the nuts & cereal like that in those isles. I dont eat meat anymore, those poor animals! I look for Low fat or anything else better on every piece of food i get. I look @ the nutrition in the back. Do those small pizza things sound ok for diet, i eat 3 times a day, healthy snacks in between, i dont eat after 6-6:30. If i do, its an apple. Every sunday i get a treat. This sunday i get a "Hot Latte Lite" from burger king with skim milk and splenda. With that i have 1 weight watcher treat(chocolate chip cookie, lemon square, ect. one of those.) I drink only water during the day plus milk (skim) in the morning to get me going with breakfast. I also exercise. I go jogging/running. I go to the gym few times a week and run/jog after school everyday.
Unhealthy caloric intake? I'm taking a nutrition class. We documented what we ate for 3 days. For one day, I was around 1,100cal (lol, that was when I had burger king), and for the others, it was around 800. Generally speaking, I don't do much aside from going to class and being on the computer, and my BMI is at 19. However, something else on the program we're using to examine our eating habits for the class pretty much had my average net gain/loss for calories as being negative 344. I'm 19, and weigh 109lbs and am 5'3", but this is how I've been for the whole summer, and I usually go up a few lbs once school starts back up. It worries me that my recommended caloric intake for someone in my position was 1,847, but my average intake was only 961. While this was only a 3-day thing, it does pretty much demonstrate how I eat on a day to day basis. Am I really unhealthy? I'm not on a diet, and I don't starve myself or anything like that, but I guess I'm kind of concerned after seeing those results. Is this dangerous? Hm, this makes me think that a) I entered things into the charts incorrectly, or b) I did the math wrong on the serving amounts to begin with. I'll have to double check this. Also, if any of you have knowledge in working with printers, I have a problem related to printing out this nutrition thing in another question.
Can i eat junk food and still get good results from the p90x? i'm doing the p90x. i'm 15 years old. now a benefit i have that most people dont is that i lose weight quickly. i dont know why but thats just how it is. i dont really eat that much, i dont eat lunch at school and i dont eat breakfast usually. i might have a snack or a couple bites of lunch to hold me through the day but that's about it but when i do eat it's always something bad like burger king or mcdonalds or something? if i do the p90x will i still get results by not following they're nutrition program?

Could I actually lose weight eating up to four Burger King Whoppers in a day? OneBurger King Whopper w/o mayonnaise has 510 calories http://www.bk.com/Nutrition/PDFs/eatingstrategy.pdf . The average Adult requires only 2000 calories a day, so if I times 510 X 4, I'll get 2, 040 calories. I might even lose weight eating like that for a month, huh? Not a bad idea, yes , no, huh?

The deserts are all fat and suger and have little or no nutritional value, food dye is common place with pizzas staining plates and very sorry sausages. our contract with the burger king company is up shortly and i would desperatley like an alternative. Cost is an issue with money having to come from somewhere, but the present situation has shown many broken promises and declining standards. i would like any suggestions, we have an onsite kitchin and about 90 children with varius needs, the staff would also eat if the food was good adding another 30-60 covers per day. are their specialist caterers? are our numbers sufficient? could we go inhouse? is there hope?
Im doing my senior project on fast food and nutrition..i need help :)? So i decided to do it on this topic BUT im kind of stuck... Should i focus on one fast food chain- Mcdonalds , burger king or all fast food places in general? any ideas?
Is it safe to exceed daily nutrition percentages? I'm not a overweight but just had 5 dollar menu chicken sandwiches from Burger King. Will I need to go to the hospital because of the extra fat and sodium, etc?
What could possibly go wrong with Obama's Health Care Plan? All of the following are true and taken straight from the news: Obama's health care plan will be written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it. Passed by a Congress that hasn't read it and whose members will be exempt from it Signed by a President that hasn't read it and who smokes, Funded by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes Overseen by an obese surgeon general who's last job was nutrition advisor to Burger King Financed by a country that is nearly broke. RAT - Hey man, I like your style. Facts = Bigotry Nice
